Reconciliation & settlement of financial transactions has been a generational challenge in a multi-entity landscape. Dubai’s department of finance was taking 45 days to reconcile & settle their books with 40+ other government entities & 15+ banks within UAE. Avanza implemented Dubai’s 1st production grade blockchain implementation addressing above issue using Hyperledger Fabric 1.1. Currently, blockchain has already posted 2+ million business transactions since go-live in Q1-2018.
