László Gönczy is an assistant professor at Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), in the Fault Tolerant Systems Research Group, Dept. of Measurement and Information Systems. He holds an MSc in Software Engineering and an MSc in
Engineering Economics from Corvinus University of Budapest. Currently he works as
lecturer at BME and performs as CEO of Quanopt, an innovative spin-off founded by researchers. His professional interest includes model-driven development of SOA and dependability analysis based on high level system models. Recently he is involved in research wrt. business processes over blockchain, and gave talks on business/technological aspects of blockchain for industrial audience. He is the project leader of a proposal recently accepted by a large consortium of leading European innovative companies, with the goal of creating a blockchain course for the decision makers.
László Gönczy is the main lecturer of a course with more than 500 students enrolled and he is regularly giving university courses and industrial workshops since 2003.
