Computer Engineer by the University of Deusto (Bilbao, Bizkaia, SPAIN), Gorka Oteiza has been working on several fields of expertise in the last twenty years for Lantik S.A., all related to IT.
He started in Lantik as a Development Department team member in 1997, and over the years he has transitioned into the technology and innovation division, being involved on several strategic projects.
Current projects he has led for the last years include diverse areas such as open source, storage, virtualization (VMware and RHEV), and computing/servers architecture design and implementation, over the two datacenters of the company.
As a speaker, he has experience talking on many internal forums of the company and government meetings, explaining the different projects that he has been part of. He has also given conferences on virtualization related technologies to general audiences.
