Imre Kocsis is an assistant lecturer at the Dept. of Measurement and Information Systems, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Hungary.

He is the lecturer of the course "Blockchain technologies and applications" at his university and regularly holds industrial courses. He has been active in the Hyperledger-related research activities of his department for two years. In Hyperledger, he is an active member of the Performance and Scale Work Group.

Imre is the national delegate of Hungary to ISO/TC 307 (Blockchain and distributed ledgers) and serves as a steering committee member of the International IBM Cloud Academy Conference (ICACON) series.
