Matthew Davie, Managing Director at Kiva, is the lead staff member on technologies for financial inclusion. He is a charter member of the Linux Foundation’s Hyperldeger Social Impact Working Group and is on the ID2020 Ecosystem Advisory Steering Committee. Additionally, Matthew is Managing Partner at Taviti, a technology incubator and advisory firm specializing in emerging markets and technologies. From 2007-2015, he was an executive at multiple early-stage technology companies in the big data, entertainment, and gaming sectors. Before that, Matthew was a guest lecturer at Stanford University. He learned his B.S. from the University of California at Davis, and his M.S. and Ph.D. from Stanford University.
